The Physics Department's Womxn in Physics group will be hosting Sarah Burke-Spolaor, an astronomer from West Virginia University. Dr. Burke-Spolaor's research focuses on dynamic phenomena, specifically binary supermassive black holes, cosmological sources of radio impulses, pulsars, and radio jets. She will be joining us virtually to speak about her career path and to discuss the effects of gender in the field of physics
