Arjun Aryal, a PhD candidate at OSE Program, whose research was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Tito Busani, has received the prestigious 2023 Intel Supply Chain Award for ‘’Best Student Papers’’ at the 2023 SPIE Advanced Lithography + Patterning Conference. This award is given to students considering both their ability to present and explain their work orally as well as the technical excellence of the proceeding manuscript. Only 2 awards are given each year and Mr. Arjun received the first prize of $1500 and the award certificate.

Arjun Aryal et.al paper titled “Realization of High-Q Lamb Wave Resonator with Smooth Vertical Etching Profile for Thin Film Lithium Niobate,” explores the use of high-quality etched profile of Lithium Niobate Material System to develop high performance Acoustic Resonators for sensing applications.
