The 2025 Optical Science and Engineering Open House
The OSE Program will be hosting its annual Open House on Friday, April 4, 2025, via Zoom only. The main program with both national and international prospective students will take place from 8:30AM - 10:45 AM via Zoom only. The agenda includes the following:

Friday, April 4, 2025, from 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM
- Chair's greeting, department overview
- UNM Resources Overview
- OSE Alumnus, Dr. Luke Horstman of Honeywell
- OSE Faculty Research Presentations
- Student Panel Discussion
Furthermore, we are inviting all prospective students to attend the OSE Seminar on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 12:45 PM - 1:45 PM via Zoom or in-person, with OSE Alumnus, Dr. Jeff Nicholson.
The 2025 OSE Open House is a time where the faculty, staff and students get to meet and greet the prospective Fall 2025 students. These students have already received admissions offers to the OSE program and are attending the Open House to gain knowledge about the OSE Program's academics and research as well as learn about campus life, social organizations, and future opportunities.
